Building my path
in IT, one project at a time.

I study Microcomputer Systems and Networks and I am turning training into hands-on experience: IT support, infrastructure, networking and professional environments in Spain and Slovenia.

2026First international professional experience

From studying technology to working with it.

I started by building a foundation in systems, networking and support. The important step was applying it outside the classroom: first in an international environment in Maribor and then inside the IT Department at Fundació Salut Empordà.

I am still at the beginning of the journey. My focus is to progress with purpose: understand how things work, test them, solve real problems and keep adding experience.

IT SUPPORT IN HEALTHCARE

Fundació Salut Empordà

IT Department · Figueres, Girona8 July — 31 July · 2 September — 27 November 2026In progressFCT placement

My placement in the IT Department at Fundació Salut Empordà has let me see technical support inside a real professional environment. My main task has been handling and resolving level 1 incidents reported by users through a ticketing system. I have solved issues involving internal telephony, printers and corporate applications, and I have also replaced and configured computers, joining them to the domain and assigning the required device name.

↳

From ticket to infrastructure

I have also been able to understand the real network infrastructure —racks, ports, patch panels, wall outlets and cabling—, distinguish static and dynamic IP addresses and make DHCP reservations using MAC addresses. I have worked with basic Windows Server and Active Directory concepts, and prepared and deployed computers with Acronis, antivirus software and configuration policies.

In progress

A personal and academic lab for turning networking concepts into configurations I can build, test, break and then make work again.

01

Context

Practise simulated networks beyond a one-off exercise and build a useful foundation for the next stage.

02

Goal

Design topologies, configure devices and verify connectivity while practising IP, subnetting, VLANs, switching and basic routing.

03

Architecture

Router, switches, network segments and end devices organised to test communication between VLANs and devices.

04

What I learn

How to diagnose errors, verify configurations and better understand the relationship between addressing, segmentation and connectivity.

Professional goals

My current goal is to consolidate a solid technical foundation in networking, systems and IT support. In the medium term, I want to study a Higher Technician programme in Networked Computer Systems Administration (ASIX) with a cybersecurity profile, keep improving my networking skills and prepare certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and Cisco CCNA. I want to grow as a junior IT profile, with a particular interest in networking, systems and cybersecurity.

A SIMPLE IDEA

I do not want to stop at studying technology.

I want to understand it, test it and work with it. The goal is not to pretend I know everything, but to learn, apply and keep building real experience.

Let’s talk.

Job opportunities, projects, collaborations or a conversation about IT. If it makes sense, send me a message.
